Officers' Welcome

It is our honour and  privilege to represent the members of Newlands Golf Club. Our committment as Club Officers is to ensure that our members derive as much enjoyment as possible from our fabulous facilities and golf course. We also uphold the tradition of Newlands as a club with a strong social ethos where members meet regularly not just to play golf but to have fun and build friendships many of which have lasted lifetimes. Newlands is also proud that we encourage junior golfers to take up our magnificent game and to develop their talent to the best of their ability. 

Newlands has a superb cadre of volunteers who keep all aspects of the club running like clockwork. We extend a very special thanks to the Management, Ladies’ and Men’s Committees, for their time and commitment, and to all the various sub-committees, volunteers and staff members who combine to make Newlands such a great Club.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our sponsors who support our club year in, year out.

On the playing field, we thank our team managers and players who represent Newlands in InterClub competitions. You all uphold the  reputation that Newlands has for integrity, sportsmanship and competitiveness. We hope you enjoy and cherish representing Newlands.

Finally, we wish you, our members,  good health to enjoy many rounds of golf in the company of good friends.
