Newlands Golf Club
Founded in 1910, Newlands continues to be a vibrant club with active members across the ladies, men’s, and junior sections. We are a friendly and competitive club as can be observed from the banter enjoyed by the members in the bar and restaurant after competing in one of the many popular weekly, or weekend competitions.
Members can also enjoy bridge, snooker, indoor bowling, and music sessions to name but a few non-golfing activities that are available.

A Mature Parkland Course to test the best
Designed by Jeff Howes, our course provides a challenge for golfers at all levels.
It encourages players to use all the clubs in their bag and keeps members' and visitors' interest year in, year out.
There are sufficient bailout areas for players with higher handicaps, while for lower handicap players the challenge and variety of our greens and the location of our mature trees provide a significant test. The course will reward only those who can control the shape and the length of their shots.
If you love the game of golf, you will enjoy playing our course.
A warm welcome to all visitors
Newlands is easily accessible from the M50 and Naas Road Dual Carriageway. The course is a mere 13 kilometres from Dublin City in the suburb of Clondalkin. A lovely view of the 6th and 7th holes can be seen when crossing the flyover at Newlands Cross.
Many members in the club are from the local environs of Templeogue, Tallaght, Lucan, Rathfarnham and, of course, Clondalkin itself. However, Newlands prides itself on extending a warm welcome to all so we hope you will consider visiting us.
