The Crofts and the Healys clean up in Tuesday’s Mixed

The Crofts and the Healys cleaned up with a magnificent score of 92 points, and took away the ‘hoovers’ in the Harkness Bros & FrontLine Mechanical and Electrical Services Mixed Invitation on Tuesday last, 5th September. Two hoovers in each household, I guess they can always sell one, if they find it’s collecting dust !!

Of the 130 people who played in the competition, five teams of four took away prizes. And two players, Dympna Kellett and Dave Dempsey even walked away with a car……radio! Captain Siobhan thanked Greg Harkness and Des Kenny for their generous sponsorship, and acknowledged Greg’s help and support of the the ladies section for many a year.

Those who left for home at a reasonable hour missed the impromptu sing-song with Greg and Ray leading the way on guitar and harmonica. It was a fun night, so put the date in your diary for next year, it’s one not to be missed.
