Newlands Duo feature in Brabazon Trophy

Niall Kearney (Royal Dublin) captured the Brabazon Trophy on Sunday with a final round of 70 to win by 5 shots from nearest rival Liam Burns (England). To cap a great weekend for Irish amateur golf, the tall Dubliner enjoyed rounds of 70, 68 and a final round of 70 to finish on 5 under par.

Newlands duo Cian Curley and  Andrew Hogan both played in the event.  Cian finished tied 20th having led with a 68 after round 1 and Andrew came tied 4th, a great achievement from both our members
